Lincolnshire Council Services Under One Roof
A variety of council services can be found under one roof at Providence
House in Holydyke, Barton.
Barton Local Link moved to Providence House last year and gives easy
access to all council services - from benefits advice to bus passes,
housing to childcare and help with applying for council services.
It also acts as a gateway to other services from partner organisations
such as debt advice, health and welfare benefits.
As well as the Local Link, Providence House is home to Barton Library,
Adult Community Learning and an Adult Social Services team.
A number of organisations also hold regular surgeries at the Local Link
including Citizen Advice Bureau, North Lincolnshire Homes and the local
MP.
Cllr Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Corporate and Community services
at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “A wide range of council services
can be found under one roof at Providence House in Barton from the Local
Link to the Library.
Come along and speak to friendly staff who will be eager to help you
with any enquiry or problem.
It is a very convenient amenity for the town and surrounding villages.”
