BAYSGARTH LOWER SCHOOL Out of car park and turn left into Market Lane. At cross roads ( Kookies Pub on left ) turn right on to Whitecross Str. Follow road round to the left on to Caister Rd. The entrance to the school is the first turning on the left.

BAYSGARTH UPPER ( MAIN ) SCHOOL Out of car park and turn left into Market Lane. At cross roads ( Kookies Pub on left ) straight on into Barrow Road. The first entrance on the right hand side is the main entrance to the school

BOWMANDALE SCHOOL Turn Right out of car park. Take second left into Bowmandale. Continue until mini roundabout. Second exit ( straight on ) and the school is on the right.

COUNTY SCHOOL Turn right out of car park. Continue to mini roundabout. Take second exit and bear right with road into Fleetgate. At mini roundabout turn left and bear right with road into Castledyke West. The school is on the left

SAINT PETERS SCHOOL Turn right out of car park, then take first turning right ( at George Hotel ) into George Street ( one way ). Over crossroads into King Street ( two way traffic ). At give way ( cross roads ) go straight over down narrow one way street. This is the start of Marsh Lane. It continues over the next crossroads and the school is on the right.

PUBLIC HOUSES

ASSEMBLY ROOMS Turn right out of car park, then take first turning right ( at George Hotel ) into George Street ( one way ). Over cross roads into King Street ( two way traffic ). At give way turn left into High Street. Take the first on the right into Queen Street. The Assembly Rooms is on the left.

CARNIVAL Turn right out of car park,and through where the road narrows. Take the left turn immediately after this narrow section into Brigg Road. Continue up the hill and take the second turning right into Millfields. At mini roundabout take second exit ( straight on ) and carry on up Millfields. At give way turn right and then take the first left into forkdale and the entrance to the Carnival is just on the right.

COACH AND HORSES Turn right out of car park and through where the road narrows on to Holydyke. At mini roundabout turn right into Hungate. At cross roads turn left into High Street and the Coach and Horses is on the right.

CONSTITUTIONAL CLUB This is in the Market Place next to the TSB bank.

GEORGE HOTEL Turn right out of the car park and then first right into George street and the George Hotel is on this corner.

KOOKIES Turn left out of car park and Kookies is on the left at the cross roads.

NEW QUEENS CLUB Turn right out of car park, then take first turning right ( at George Hotel) into George Street ( one way ). Over cross roads into King Street ( two way traffic ). At give way turn left into High Street. Take the first on the right into Queen Street. The Queens Club is on the left at the junction with Newport Street.

OLD MILL Turn left out of car park and then right into the Old Mill

RED LION Turn right out of car park and through where the road narrows on to Holydyke. At mini roundabout turn right into Hungate. The Red Lion Pub is on the left just after the cross roads.

SLOOP INN Turn right out of car park. Continue to mini roundabout. Take second exit and bear right with road into Fleetgate. At mini roundabout turn left and bear right with road into Castledyke West. At bottom keep to left and turn left at give way on to Waterside Road. The Sloop Inn is on the left at the junction with Farr Ings Road.

VICTORY CLUB Turn right out of car park and through where the road narrows on to Holydyke. At mini roundabout turn right into Hungate. The Victory Club is on the left.

VOLUNTEER ARMS Out of car park and turn left into Market Lane. At cross roads
( Kookies Pub on left ) turn right on to Whitecross Str. The Volunteer Arms is on the right.

WHEATSHEAF HOTEL Turn right out of the car park and go through where the road narrows. The Wheatsheaf Hotel is on the left at the junction with Brigg Road.

WHITE SWAN Turn right out of car park and through where the road narrows on to Holydyke. At mini roundabout take second exit ( straight on ). Follow the road round to the right on to Fleetgate. Turn left at the mini roundabout and follow the road round to the right into Castledyke West ( one way ). At the bottom keep to the right and then turn right at give way. Where the road bears round to the left turn right on to Fleetgate and the White Swan is immediately on your left.

SAINT PETERS CHURCH Turn Left out of car park on to Market Lane. At cross roads
( Kookies pub on corner ) turn Left on to Whitecross Str. At mini roundabout take second exit onto Beck Hill. Saint Peters Church is on the right.

SAINT MARYS CHURCH Turn Left out of car park on to Market Lane. At cross roads
( Kookies pub on corner ) turn Left on to Whitecross Str. At mini roundabout take first exit onto Burgate. Saint Marys church is on the right.

TRINITY METHODIST Turn right out of car park,and through where the road narrows on to Holydyke. Take first turning on right into Vestry Lane. The entrance is on the left. The entrance to the Lecture Hall is on Holydyke.

SAINT AGUSTINS ( Catholic ) Turn Left out of car park on to Market Lane. At cross roads
( Kookies pub on corner ) turn right on to Whitecross Str. The entrance to the church is on the left.

BARTON EVANGELICAL CHURCH This is in the Market Place down the lane near the bank.

SALVATION ARMY CITADEL Turn right out of car park, then take first turning right ( at George Hotel ) into George Street ( one way ). Over cross roads into King Street ( two way traffic ). At give way turn left into High Street. Take the first on the right into Queen Street. The citadel is on the right.

OTHER PLACES OF INTEREST

BARTON CLAY PITS Turn right out of car park. Continue to mini roundabout. Take second exit and bear right with road into Fleetgate. At mini roundabout turn left and bear right with road into Castledyke West. At bottom keep to left and turn left at give way on to Waterside Road. Second turning left ( at Sloop Public House ) is Far Ings Road. This is often called Far ings Lane or even Ings Lane. Continue on this road for about a mile and you will see a sign on the right for Reeds Hotel which Westfield Lakes is now called. About 100 Mtrs past this sign is the Clay Pits Exhibition Building with a car park.

BAYSGARTH LIESURE CENTER Turn right out of car park through where road narrows and turn left onto Brigg Road. The entrance to the leisure center is at the end of the park which is on the left.

BAYSGARTH PARK Out of car park and turn left into Market Lane. At cross roads ( Kookies Pub on left ) turn right on to Whitecross Str. Where the road bears round to the left the entrance to the park is straight on.

NORTH LINCS SAILING CLUB Turn left out of car park. At cross roads ( Kookies Pub ) turn left on to Whitecross Str. At mini roundabout second exit on to Beck Hill. Follow the road round to the left on to Pasture Road. Continue until reaching give way. Turn left and go over level crossing. Follow this road which gets quite narrow and rough and it ends at the sailing club.

OUTDOOR PURSUITS CENTER Turn right out of car park. Continue to mini roundabout. Take second exit and bear right with road into Fleetgate. At mini roundabout turn left and bear right with road into Castledyke West. At bottom keep to left and turn left at give way on to Waterside Road. Second turning left ( at Sloop Public House ) is Far Ings Road. This is often called Far ings Lane or even Ings Lane. The entrance to the center is about three-quarters of a mile on the right along a narrow track.

RAILWAY STATION Turn right out of car park. Continue to mini roundabout. Take second exit and bear right with road into Fleetgate. At mini roundabout turn left and bear right with road into Castledyke West. At junction the railway station is directly opposite
