Barton upon Humber is a town of over 10,000 population situated on the south bank of the River Humber. The town has a long history which can be traced back well before the 10th century AD.

This site has been constructed and maintained by the webmaster with the help of the town clerk and other agencies within the town. If you have any comments or suggestions then please email the webmaster. If you have any photographs or stories which can be included then please pass them to the webmaster.

I have had several comments saying that people could not find some pages. As the site grows I can understand the problem and so I have now added an A to Z of the site which should help.

New to the site is a section with maps of Barton in the information area of the site. On these maps will appear blue dots. If you click on these a new window will open with photographs from that area of the town.

I have just added a new section to the Picture Book Of Barton element of the site. This is an area with photographs of people with their names. It is hoped that should anyone have any information about these individuals I will add this to the pages. Should you have old photographs of Bartonians and either have information about them or would like information please let me have them and I will try and add them to this section.
